2 out of 8 speakers working - common reason?
Hi people, I believe I have the Bose syatem with an external amp in the trunk. So the rear most door speakers on each side work however it seems the remaining 6 are not operational.
Any idea on common cause? Jst 6 blown speakers or other iasues? What Ibhave come to find is the rear shemf ones with small Bose tags on them are driven by the amp in the trunk. But since the front tweters arent woeking I guess it is just not an amp issue. Also, using either the balanve adjustment or fader in the MB original stereo headunit both seem to do the same thing - sound in either left or right rear most door speaker. Perhaps this is normal behaviour when shelf apeakers are present? I am used to and would have expected rear most fader setting to have no sound at all as the rears arent working and no sound from door speakers.
Thanks for ideas. I will check fuse on the amp. From there otherwise I guess I check for voltage at speaker and then wither know speker os blown or to trace the signal "backwords".
