New Owner, Issue with lights. Please help!
Recently purchased a CLK320 Convertible. The inner lights (i believe are the DRLs) Have a high option and a low option. (It is the first right turn on the light switch.) Well I replaced one because it was out, and on the drive home both went out (left and right). Since then, I have changed them again but they will not come on. I checked the fuse box under the next to the driver door and all of them seemed to be in tact. I believe the fuse box under the hood is for other components if I'm not mistaken. Not sure what else to check besides maybe the bulb housing?

My suggestion would be to check the connector wiring for a short circuit or breakage, as in time, the wiring insulation becomes brittle and breaks, exposing the inner conductor to a potential short circuit.
If so, repair the insulation with electrical tape.
A short circuit would have then likely blown a fuse. Below are the fuse assignments for the N7-1 lighting SAM fuses.
Note: Just looking at the fuse's top slight glass does not always reveal a blown fuse. Use a multimeter to verify that full vehicle voltage is present on both the unfused and fused ends of the fuse.
