So due to Covid-19 I figured this would be a good time to tackle all my little issues on the CLK. As you know, when the car is in reverse and the side mirror adjust switch is set to the passenger side, the mirror will angle downwards to provide a better view. This works as is intended on my CLK but when I put back into drive, it never returns to the original position. It looks like it's trying but keeps "clicking" back into the downward facing view. If I hit the seat memory switch it also doesn't revert to the original position. With all of this though I can still manually adjust with the switch very easily back into the original position.

Some advice would be greatly appreciated. This is a small issue but it'd be great to rectify.

It may not be centered.Try moving it all the way down (or up) and then see if you can (gently) move it more by hand.
