W208 55 AMG... still no wipers, directionals and windows.
Hey everyone... I知 so stumped. 2002 55 AMG. Still have no wipers, directionals windows and door locks. Again... I have changed, multi function switch, window switch, SAM, both door modules, checked every fuse with a meter pulled entire car apart to check all connections to all modules, put direct power to motors to assure they are good, hooked up to Icarsoft MB V2.0 with 38 pin and no codes in any module. I truly do not know where to turn to next! Could it be EIS or a bad PSE.... I believe they would throw codes but I知 losing hope.... please help! Thank you!

I致e checked all fuses.... power going to every fuse and all are good. The only thing I haven稚 tested are relays..... I have taken them all off and inspected connections etc

I understand. I've had almost all of those same problems. Replacing the SAM took care of most things for me, but I still have to turn my lights on before the windows will get power and the mirrors still act funny sometimes, etc
I'm not implying your fuse is blown. I'm remarking on the fact that (at least in my case) most (if not all) of the problems I'm still having, seem to (in some way) be related to a circuit that fuse #7 corresponds to. I haven't figured it out yet, but I believe that there is (most likely) a single issue that's causing multiple symptoms as a result of the inter-dependency on the fuse #7 circuit(s). I believe the root cause is in there somewhere. I just don't know where to look.
I would also think it would be prudent to try replacing your SAM again, because it's always possible that you may have replaced a bad SAM with another bad SAM (since they seem to be a common point of failure).
G/L and keep me posted on your progress.

Thanks man! I知 really debating just selling it. I知 at wits end. Really not looking to pay someone thousands to figure out a wiring issue and I知 not sure how much more patience I have. I haven稚 tried the windows with lights on.... I may try that! The messed up thing is flashers work etc. I知 wondering if there is a way to hard wire the motors and switches??? I値l keep you in the loop for sure!

Don't sell it just yet. That's what the guy did who sold me my car. He thought he was getting rid of an expensive headache, but instead, I ended up with a steal. The oil leak he was so concerned about took me 20 minutes and zero dollars to fix and all of the electrical issues it was having (less the stuff I just mentioned) were solved with a SAM I got for like 50 bucks. Now I have a true 1998 W208 CLK 320 in amazing shape, with 165k miles on it (less than half the national average).......all for $700 and about $150 in parts.
Let's figure this out together.
