New CLK430 (Hiccup Acceleration)
Hey, first post!
Just picked up a 430 last week. Day 1..Absolutely awful from 0mph or coming off a red light. Took maybe an average 4-7 seconds till it properly grabbed the gas.
Thankfully, day 2 got better, hiccuping once around the 85-90mpg range randomly. It'll kinda "choke" and kick back for a second then drive normally again.
I finally got the closest when watching a video about resetting the transmission which took a few minutes. Car drove noticeably different as a whole almost immediately. Still a bit hesitant to push it and see if the problem's fixed but this entire time, I never got any check engine lights from day 1. I WAS also informed the car had been sitting for a bit so it could be that..I put a fuel injector in on the last fill up
Side note: My BAS ESP light came on, couldnt get it out of park until I used a paintbrush stick to override it under the "Drive" letter in the gearshift. Probably picking up a new brake switch this week
