2002 clk 430 cabriolet
Water leaked into my passenger footwell

Got a car wash then after I notice water on the passenger side footwell what could be the problem??

you have clogged drain plug in the front (engine bay area by windshield). you should check to make sure your TCU which is in the passenger footwell area is not damaged and dry. highly recommend you check this asap!!

okay thanks what exactly is the tcu?? And for the plug how can I clean it?

transmission control unit (computer for your transmission), i would first check to make sure there is no water there. if there is, then maybe tray blow drier or rice to help get rid of any water.

The leak will continue until you unclog the drain in the engine compartment. look passenger side wiper tray. There is a drain hole that extends down to under car. You need to take a long thin wire and pass it down that tube to unclog it. If it stays clogged, you will get more wayer inside. Do a search for this problem...lots of answers there.
