how to check transmission fluid after replaced conductor plate
Have 2001 clk320.
Changed out 722.6 tranny conductor plate. Car still in limp mode. Checked fluid level after putting about 4 liters of approx 5 liters that drained out; but nothing shows on dipstick.
Why no fluid on dipstick? When do you see a reading?
Why car still in limp mode?
What should I do?

Help!
Yes, cleared fault code w/ my Bluedriver obd2. It said cleared codes; however returns when test driving that remained in limp mode.
I added fluid until it showed BTW 80 deg marks; although I tried but didn't do a good job of measuring the amt drained out.
Desperately need your help!
Still in Limp mode with code P0715, "Input/Turbine Shaft Speed Sensor "A" Circuit."
I replaced the transmission conductor plate and pilot bushing/transmission connector.
Help!
