Hi Guys! i am new to this forum and I hope i am not posting incorrectly here. I just got my 02 mercedes clk55 amg (W208) and I was replacing the usual leaky valve cover gasket and resealing the pcv covers. long story short my torque wrench malfunctioned and I fractured the cover. I have been looking for a replacement cover and I cannot for the life of me find a part number. will a valve cover from a clk430 work just the same? I put the part number in for that on the mercedes parts website and they tell me that doesnt fit.... im at a loss. the guy at mercedes told me they dont make valve covers for this car. I dont understand that one. when you can buy a valve cover for a 1948 mercedes and they dont make one for a 2002..... anyone know whats up with that?
