We all need to see a picture of this big star grill your friend is shipping in, because there are MANY big star grills out there. Most of them are not that attractive. Most of the people who say they have the CL style grill with the big star, is actually the one we all see on Ebay. I think everyone here is talking about the CL style grill that is on that website at the very bottom. Any pictures?

Dude, I will show you the picture as soon as the shipment comes in. The big star I am talking about is the one like CL grille. Because I own w208 clk too. I been looking for big star for long time also. From my memory, there is someone in this website who is selling CL style grille for thousand or more ( include the hood). Therefore I been waiting for Grille for long too. The only problem is I don't even know when is the shipemtn and fully detail that my friend will provide.
Anyway Correct me if I am wrong .

Though it seems like little progress has been made on the CL style grill, I recieved the following encouraging pictures from formymercedes . com. Final fitment and painting (white to be replaced with black) are in process.

I don't like it, it's not a real grill so it's completely different from the original mercedes grill. In my opinion the austrian one is really better. If notting new will came out in the end I will buy the austrian one.

The one on the top (made in Austria) has a frame around the grill, the CL grill has no frame around it, just like the one on the far bottom from formymercedes.com, now the frame does help make it look more proportionate because the w208 grill is big.

This is the austrian grill picture on a car. Now I'm waiting to see the pictures of the new one without the frame. To eliminate the frame is good but I need to see the proportions of the grill and star. Let's hope it will be ready soon. The price of the new one should be very competitive if it will confirmed at $ 250
