Clk430 1999 no crank
I have a clk430 1999 when I got it a month ago it started then would die 3mins on gas sometimes less then one day I went to move it and nothing lights turn on and I can move it through gears but won't crank (stater is good same with battery that it started with) looked at the starter and the positive touched motor and sparked so ik the relay is good but when you go to start nothing happens (Also key doesn't unlock/lock any doors) but (no codes other then for o2 bank one) pops out idk I know alot about cars but this got me on ropes can anyone help me please

(If it helps the last time it started it was slow then it fired up after turning 4times then it stoped new plugs and everything i just don't want to bring it in and drop alot more for something I could kinda do my self)

Thank you but the key never was able to unlock/lock it but yes is the a ecu test I could do and would a c class work as a parts car but thank you I'll test battery 🕶️

Could be good to check battery and its terminals and connection to ground.
Otherwise without codes, try logical approach. Do the car have fuel pressure i.e. fuel pump wprking okey? Fresh fuel? Sparks? As engine turned we know key and computers accept the key and code.

CPS goes bad when engine is hot...cools and then will restart
bad fuel has nothing to do that it won't crank
I would go with a bad/low battery or bad ground wire

okay thank you I just put it in battery and so it's probably a bad ground but would you say it's the background on the starter or the battery itself is everything Powers up and it always hooks up perfectly fine just to start it won't turn over won't even click so it could be a bad ground on the starter I can check that out I thank you for helping you guys if you guys can think of anything else please feel free to let me know
