CLK320 (w208) boot lock
I am trying to find a good second hand replacement lboot ock for my 2003 CLK320. Currently there is a stand in fitted that allows the boot to close but not lock but worse still the roof will not operate. Can anyone offer me any advice as to where I might be able get one? Thanks.

There isn't any easy answer to this. The barrels rust and the lock seizes and everybody wants one. It's important to have one with a key, because if the electric roof fails, then you need to use the key to open the boot to manually put the roof back. The coupe lock does not work in the convertible. I spent 3 years looking for a convertible boot lock with a key. I was lucky in the end but it cost about £300 after all the ones i bought that didn't work. Ebay, Ebay.Ebay. OR if you're really lucky a localish scrappy.
