Cabriolet Roof Reliability??
Hi Guys. Considering buying a 2002 CLK55 Cabriolet. I've never owned a convertible and I'm a bit worried about wear and replacements. Can anyone share their experiences with W208 convertible roofs?

I love and adore my 208 Cabriolet, but its roof has been a right royal pain in the behind at many times. The roof is extremely complex and can be very difficult to diagnose and fix. That said, the pain and the strife has been worth it as I love going to into my garage for right good tinker, especially when it comes out working.
The 208 cabriolet is not to be recommended if you want an easy life though.

I would have to agree, I put mine in the garage for the winter and come spring the top would not work. However I love that body style and going to look at a 03 today with 50,000 miles 1 owner, I am tempted...
