So I have a 2001 clk 430, 73,000 miles. Had a MAF light when I got it 3 months ago, replaced it with an eBay one. (whoops) Light still on, replaced it with a Bosche one from a junkyard off another 430 just to see if it would solve the issue before ordering a brand new one, light still on, did it one more time from junkyard off a low mileage 500, same issue. Bought a more in depth diagnostic tool and these are the codes I'm getting. It is straight piped so thr cat/o2 codes are expected, but what else could it be. Could I really have gone through 4 faulty MAFs? Why am I still running rich after doing a full ngk tune up, valve gasket covers, all breather hoses and tubes replaced, including new map sensor and hose (which gave me the biggest noticeable increase in lost power). It seems to have full power but just runs rich and I'd love to get these lights cleared, do I need o2 sensors due to my lack of cats, would that cause it to run THIS rich? Or is this all MAF related. I'm pretty knowledge on working on her so far, but reading live data charts and air/fuel ratios are newer to me. I can provide some logs if needed.
