Alarm - Pre-wired from factory
Hello All,
New to the group and new to W208's I have just bought a CLK430, picking it up next week
will upload a pick when i pick it up.
my insurance company has asked for an alarm to be fitted and i was hoping to juts buy the factory parts, plug them in and run star diagnostic to program.
Could someone please confirm if the cars are prewired for the sensors modules etc?
Also it would be great if someone had a parts list
What i have confirmed so far are the following parts
Horn 219-820-32-64
Bracket for the horn 202-822-06-14
Bonnet switch 210-820-47-10 (Does it need a bracket?)
Towing theft module 202-820-47-26
Bracket for the towing module
Anti Theft Module 208-820-35-26
Bracket for the anti theft module
Interior ultrasonic sensors 208-820-60-10
Covers for the ultrasonic sensors 208-690-00-28
and a new facia panel to suit with towing off switch.

Thanks Cindyclk, it would appear that all CLK;s came factory fitted except the Australian delivered versions, my 2000 CLK430, does not have the tow away button, the vin check doesn't list the alarm option as being fitted. a quick look and i couldn't find the alarm horn or other parts in the trunk.

Allisterp.......When I read your initial post; I hesitated to earlier send you the EPC for a CLK 430, which would have detailed the hard wired connections of the ATA harness, which even incomplete, which then would have presented a good number of vehicle of CanBus commutation malfunctions within the body and power train modules (e.g. such as start immobilization).
Fortunately, others have since since correctly commented.
Please take a moment to the forum user's control panel. Go into "Account Settings", then "Account Details". Fill in the information for your "Location" (at least state/country), and your "Vehicle Details" (model and year). This information will be of great assistance to others when trying to help you.

Ill have a better look for the Alarm Modules and siren.
