Plz help! How to remove the w208 trunk lid liner?
Beneath the star on my clk w208 is rust and I must remove the star to remove the rust. But I can not remove the trunk liner because a strange fitting


is blocking. How do I remove this fitting and what is it good for?

This place is a joke.
That may hold the emergency breakdown triangle for European cars. I don't know how to remove it.

Thx - you are right. I removed the emergency triangle. I just forgot.
I just can not remove this thing :0(. Maybe I should use a knife around it to get the liner free?

Look closely, it appears to slide left, you'll just need to find the release catch.

I found a video and pulled the Mercedes star off with the help of fishing line
