Car won't start sometimes
Ok so my 02 clk320 has 410k miles. When I turn my key it won't start up right away I have to turn it once then take the key out and put it back in and repeat until it finally starts. Has anyone ever experienced this before?
I just replaced the spark plugs and wires to see if that would be a remedy to no avail still the same results. Tyia

Did you ever get this resolved?
Mine has a new gremlin which im guessing is related to this issue. When i put the key in i get a message on the dash saying i need to take out the key. When i do get the vehicle started after second attempt, it is in limp mode now and i cannot shift into drive unless i push the button inside the shifter. Dash does not indicate the dear you are in and only drives in one gear.
