Ignition/Fob won't turn

Hey all new here been searching all over for issues that can cause the Fob getting remove key message when i put it in but steering clicks and unlocks no problem but that is it...... What i did so far tested all fuses appear to be ok as i have continuity through them all, replaced battery in Fob now none of the buttons work on it but i tested with my phone and i can see signal being sent when buttons pressed. Key was advancing last week once in awhile now not at all. When i had the key advanced my Blue Driver would not connect??? When testing fuses under the hood where the ECU is i found some wires nibbled on the plastic ( God darn rodents) only the casing none severed so i taped them up. Next i may pull ECU or CPU what ever you want to call it and check wires underneath there to see if all is ok....Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TY in advance
