ones too fast according to CHP!
Quaz,
If Safet was kidding, that is great. We took a lot of heat for the terms posting yesterday, so we are still a bit 'gun shy.'
I agree, I really want to see ALL the facts out here! I beleive the Kleemann is hands down better. However, having a discussion here would make things easier to understand forever. Problem is that I don't know anyone who has reliable info on the other kit!
Can anyone bring someone here to discuss this????
Thanks
Brad

Out Of Control!!
Guys,
Read the thread that I mentioned in the E Class board, https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...=hps+and+eaton . The topic was thoroughly discussed a couple months back, and I think that this post will help shed some light on it for everyone.
Let me know if you have any questions from there.
Thanks
Ben

MACH.
I read the complete thread.
I saw a lot of cheerleading for the Kleeman product, which is great....but nothing too objective. It's cool that you guys are passionate about the product...and I truly believe it is awesome.
But there must be a way to get a simple two column comparison.
Something like :
KLEEMAN Magnus
hp
torque
0 - 60
price installed
technology
units installed
warranty
availability
blah
blah
blah
You know what I mean?

Comparison
Someone find one of these HPS equipped cars (if there is one) and I will be happy to make one of our V8's available. That goes for any one elses system as well.

otoupalik,
I was kidding, chill it's Memorial day weekend.
BTW, I agree hands-down that the Kleemann SC is better from everything I've read so-far.
If I had 16k I would definitely put one in.

You mean 20k.
I still want to see a comparison...and I think it's cool that KLEEMAN has agreed to participate.
Now if we can just find one of the others !!
But seriously, I actually wasn't looking for a track trial. I was just looking for some data to compare...that each manufacturer would stand by.
The reality for most folks is that they don't race their car. But, if spending 1/2 the money for a difference supercharge means that you risk serious damage to the engine, it's not worth it.
The horsepower gain claimed by the competing unit would be more than enough for most of us.
It's not really an issue of "better".

If you sell your Benz....you could probably get 30 Yugo's.
Then you could start your own car rental business.
With a steady flow of customers, you could probably afford to buy the new Lambourghini Murcielago in about a year!
Put THAT up against a Kleemanized CL55 !!

I hear the supercharger for a Yugo is a new lawnmower engine.
30 Yugos? I think I could get more...for replacement parts I could ask the kids in the neighborhood for some of their go-cart parts.
Then on the Murcielago license plate it'll say "NOTAYUGO".
It's 1:27pm at work, I'm counting down to the big weekend, and now starting to get delirious. :o

SL55 kicked ferrari, porsche etc butt big time. Second fastest to Lambo.
Kleemann 55 and Lambo??? Not sure that Lambo wouldn't come off second best, it was pushed by the AMG SL55..

paying insurance on your lambo after buying it, paying for it to be maintained, getting smoked by a Benz, and finding out that someone else is driving it and sleeping with your wife.
Now THAT would suck.
Ask O. J. Simpson about that one.

paying for newest lambo--- $above 300,000
paying insurance on your lambo after buying it--- $ 5,000
paying for it to be maintained ------$ 10,000
THEN getting smoked by a stock Benz SL 55.......Priceless
There is something that money can't buy
