What is this part called?

Hi,
I need to know what this front part is called? Where can I find one and how much are they? Thnaks in advance.

That's the front valance. Someone around here might be able to hook you up with a part # even, but not I.

I was told I would have to replace the entire bumper to fix that ... is that accurate?

No, that particular part can be purchased separately. If the mounting portion is broken (as it is on my CLK55), you will need to replace the bumper to have the best repair.

That part is also available aftermarket. Ask Mark Cummins on this board for information, I believe he has some available, in fibreglas (like the original) for cheaper than OEM, and in real carbon fibre...

Also, i want to put a mesh grill in front of the valence, to give it more tightness, so it doesn't fall off again in teh future. Is taht a good idea? And if so, what mesh grill do you guys suggest? Thanks
