finding aftermarket HIDs is not hard... plenty of shops carry them... although, i believe most states have illegalized them since the vehicle's headlights are not d.o.t. approved with using HID lights...

I upgrade my CLK with OEM HIDs... easy as pie... (yummy)

just buy a set of OEM HID lights, and swap it... done deal... couldn't get any easier...

Easy but how much did it cost to be easy?

Clk 430
I installed aftermarket 6000k H7 bulbs. The install was super easy and the light is much much better. The design on the factory non H.I.D lenses is good enough that they have a very sharp cutoff and does not blind oncoming drivers.

6000K is about as high as I'd go, factory H.I.D color is close to 4300K. We installed 8000K on my friends GTO, they are very blue. So blue in fact that sometimes it's hard to see.
