Our new to us Cabriolet is in great condition with only 45k, but it is 20 yrs old. The OEM speakers still sound ok but again they are 20 yrs old and I would assume the materials, cones and foams and domes, are getting a little brittle. I have not had the door panel apart yet, and I cannot tell from photos if the speaker's doorpanel frame is integral to the speaker itself or if the speaker is attached to it with screws or something. What size are the doorpanel front speakers and rear subs? Has anyone replaced and found a great choice?
