Xenon Headlight Shutting Off After a Few Minutes
Hello,
I have a 2002 CLK430 Cabriolet. I searched the forum but did not find this exact problem.
My passenger side Xenon headlight lights up fine but shuts off after about ten minutes. If I shut the car off and restart it lights up for another few minutes and then shuts off again.
I am trying to figure out if it is the bulb or ballast, so I am planning on swapping the bulbs side-to-side and see if the problem changes or stays the same.
Is there anything else that I should be looking for? I live in Phoenix and it is over 100 degrees even at night this time of year so I want to know exactly what I should be looking for!
Any suggestions for where to get whatever parts I will eventually need?
