Getting nothing from a 98 CLK 320
The car hasn’t been started in over a year, I recently replaced the key, cps, starter, starter relay, and battery myself trying to track down the culprit for no crank. The only result I’ve ever received was a slow, miserable crank immediately after changing the starter. My temp unit isn’t giving any codes(same for OBD2), and the starter voltage meter in the temp unit typically reads 12.2-12.5, however, if I leave the battery alone for too long, even with the negative terminal disconnected the battery will drain. Are there any obvious components that would do this? I’ve been advised to attempt to crank the engine by hand/do a compression test, but do not have the tools to do so at the moment. This has been deemed to be my first car for the past roughly 2 years, the last time I even drove it was before I had my license. I’d greatly appreciate any direction, my patience is wearing thin with this car.

Update
Found this the other day, what is it, and how big of an issue would it be if it were broken?
Also checked the voltage again yesterday and it read 12.7 and still absolutely no noises when trying to start it.
