There is like 1 million reasons. 1. I never expected to go down this rabbit hole, 2. I got a great price at very low milage for the car at the time of purchase in Tokyo back in 2006, Japanese don't drive cars and put high milage on them like other countries. 3. The interior is unique, not many with that interior in Japan at the time I was looking to purchase. 4. Not a fan of V8s so I wasn't looking for a V8, also no one cares about V8s in Japan. In Japan they care about doing more with less. So why not push the envelope with a V6? You should see some of the tuning shops in Japan and how they roll. Last mods on the list were for a Supercharger, Carbo Fiber Drive Shaft, and Quaife LSD.
