You'll get responses both ways....Mr Vanos I am waiting
The Koni's are great and also you can get them in the 3-way adjustable version as Mr Vanos has on his E55. I have the Bilsteins because I got them at cost but supposedly the Bilsteins are more per shock.
Both are great and I too want to know where the Bilstein Sports lie against the Koni's. Are they stiffer than the medium or soft setting or even the firm?? Mr V can you elaborate please.

Out Of Control!!
While I'm sure he'll post later, he told me they chose Koni's because for the size of the car (CLK/E/etc), it performs just as well as Bilsteins, but is much more comfortable. The comfort on Bilsteins is better in a C/M3 etc.
Did I get this right Mr V?
I have my Koni's set to Firm.
