Failed emissions test due to the fact that there was no voltage at the OBD2 connector. I confirmed that there is no voltage across pins 4 and 16. It turns out that there is no voltage across pins 1 and 3 at the 38 pin round diagnostic socket (DTC) either. I checked for a fuse problem at the 3 fuse locations. Non of the fuses are identified as having to do with OBD or Diagnostics. All the 7.5 amp fuses are ok. What could be the problem?
Problem solved! The clever folks at MB neglected to mention in the manual that fuses are located at a 4th location. Apparently no-one on this forum knew about it either.
