Exclamation CLK Cabriolet question

For the 2000 320 cabriolet, there's a latch that you have to manually undo to start the process to open the top and you have to manually lock it back when the top is up.

For the 01+ (I believe).....it's all automatic.

Question is this.....

Is there a way for me to make my cabriolet top automatic like that?

Would changing the top solve this issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nope, it's not that way on any 208...

convertible. All years require the header to be fastened manually.
