Trunk Wont Open (Not Battery Issue)
Just picked up a new to me CLK 55 AMG a few weeks back. Drove it for a week with no issues with the trunk and then one time I closed the trunk and it hasn't opened since. I can access my trunk through the back seat (it's a PITA but better than no access I guess) but I want to get my trunk functioning again. I have seen videos of people making holes in their trunks to get access to a lever that can unlock it, I plan on crawling into the trunk and doing that but I am not sure exactly which lever I am looking for and also how will this lever fix the trunk working from my keyfob and button.
Any tips/tricks would be appreciated.

You might be better taking a 10 mm open ended/ratcheting spanner and undoing the latch that is located on the rear boot cross member. Otherwise you'll have to remove the boot lid lining to get to the lever.
If you have a mechanical key which is normally hidden in your key fob you turn it anticlockwise about 45 deg then push the barrel in to unlock.
