CLK 320 1999 soft top electrical problem.

CLK 320 conv. 1999, c250d w202, c124, s211, s204
CLK 320 1999 soft top electrical problem.
Hi!
Scrolled the forum but couldn't find anything abt my problem.

Now and then at start I have a bright red light on the soft top control button, roll over bars, and power Windows. Top can then not be lowered, power Windows and roll over bars not working.

If I disconnect battery for a few seconds it goes back to normal and Windows, roll over bars and soft top working again.

Where do I start troubleshooting? Hydraulic fluid in level and relay on pump changed to new.

I would begin with an automotive scanner. The stored error codes could help you!
