Not a clue, but I've got the same setup and 2 years later my MB dealer won't even touch my suspension until I return it to stock. Says the tie rods and various other suspension parts are getting worn at a ridiculous rate, and won't deal with it anymore. Just to let ya know.

Newbie,

I'd love to have a look at your car in our shop. There is no reason that your tie rods and other suspension parts should be wearing at a "ridiculous rate," unless the shop who installed them for you made an error. Have you had your car alligned? Let me know if I can help you.

Thanks

Ben

I've definitely had my car alligned, and I trust Globe's workmanship completely. I don't think they'd have the high-$$$ cars and celebrity clientel if they weren't a quality shop.

You can feel free to take a look at my car, as long as it doesn't cost me anything .

Unfortunately, time is money, and I would have to book a slot on the schedule to get your car in. You would be looking at about an hour of labor to determine what is going wrong. What you are experiencing is not normal. Evosport, as well as many other companies, have lowered several CLK's, and this is the first I've heard of a problem like yours. Have you asked Globe what they thought of your problem?

Thanks

Ben

And, because I'm cheap and curious, how much does an hour of your time cost?

We charge $85 per labor hour. Before you end up spending money, will Globe look at it for free (since they installed it)?

Yeah, Globe will definitely look at it for free- I was just wondering what your labor rate was. I need to get that dealt with , I'll call Globe asap.
