2001 CLK 320, outside temp reading in dash reads -38.0C
Troubleshooting steps attempted:
-Replaced the temp sensor, twice
-Checked continuity/ohms in sensor (6.2 kΩ)
-Checked continuity from instrument cluster connection (Connection 'A', pins 1 + 2) to temp sensor in bumper (good)
-Checked A/C headunit for codes (none)
-Scanned OBD for codes (none)
I've recently bought/downloaded WIS just for the intent of solving this annoying problem, but I still can't figure it out.. My speed, engine running time and coolant temps are working as far as I know, as they're required for the ambient temp calculation as per WIS (see photo).
Any help from knowledgeable members here in solving this issue would be greatly appreciated
