lighter and glove box, console lights not working

Hi all. I just got this '03 CLK 320 and I'm trying to right some of the wrongs with it. The cigar lighter doesn't work (it's brand new) and the console storage light and the glove box light don't work, either. I have checked the fuse, I think it's #23 and it is good. Is there anything else in this circuit that I should be looking for? Thanks

OK changed out the fuse and now the glove box light works. (the fuse looked good but looks can be deceiving!) I think the lighter socket is defective so I will replace it. The light in the console storage area under the armrest still does not work. Also, it appears to be an LED light. Are these LEDs or a regular bulb? The wires to the plug on this are VERY short and I can't get it unplugged to check it out. I'm guessing it's on the same circuit as the glove box light. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The light in the console storage area looks like a factory item. I haven't been able to remove it to see what it actually is. There looks like a very small circuit board where the connector plugs in and I don't see any metal tabs that would hold a bulb. I haven't changed any bulbs to LED. Just trying to figure out what this one is.

I was able to unplug the light in the console. This is it in the console.

This is it unplugged.

Pretty sure it's stock. You can see the MB star and part number on the end.
