Retrofitting heated seats CLK 320

So i got myself a pretty nifty 320 withe an immacualte condition interior.Only thing is I don't have heated seats and in Canada those are really useful, esp after owning a a4 and 190e with heated seats it's really noticeable.

After digging thru forums I found that I need the wood piece and the buttom, all wires are pre-run.How can I take off/install the heating pads.I found a CLK 320 in a junkyard about an hour and a half away and after running the VIN it has them so what should I do now.I obv would prefer to use OEM when I have the choice.Without braking the wallet ofc.
