Hello I have a 2002 clk320 and I notice when I turn my wheel all the way to a side I hear this noise sounding from the tires. I did change the rims to 16x7.5 not sure if that has to do with anything. I also notice the noise came after hitting a large rock that broke my right tires rim. I got ball joints and other parts fixed and it stopped a lot but still does it when I fully do a turn

Did you have the center link replaced also? Mine made a clunking noise when I turned left. I replaced the center link and idler arm bushing. The drivers side ball joint on the center link (the one that goes into the steering arm) could be pulled in and out of its socket almost a 1/4 of an inch! If the center link was not replaced, you might want to check that.
