Hello, I have a 2000 CLK 430, the convertible top doesn’t work fully, when I go to manually unlock the roof from the windshield all the windows go down like it should, but that is it. I have tested all the micro switches I know of, and they all are OK. I have checked the fluid of the pump, that is good. I have replaced the relay even though it was working before. I can manually control the roll bar by the button on the dash and that works, but when it is up or down, the pump will still go for at least a minute and then shut off And then it doesn’t work by the switch unless I turn the ignition off and then back on. I got to a stage last night, where I managed to get the roof to somewhat go down into the trunk, but it would keep stopping and if I let go of the roof button, it would make a click or almost like it’s coming from the roll bar Or the latch that the rear trunk cover hooks into. I have taken the car to a shop to get scanned. I’ve attached the pictures. I have bought two used computer modules for the roof in case that was the problem but it still doesn’t work so I think it’s safe to say it’s something else. Any ideas would be much much appreciated. Thanks.
