Partition-activated convertible switch does not close - photos
Convertible problems!! When in the closed position, the partition roller is not contacting the micro switch that tells the system that the partition is closed; this prevents roof operation. What's the failure here? See these six annotated pics:
You indirectly fixed my convertible top problem lol - I had a leak so I replaced the cylinders, and I thought it didn't work. I had no clue this little tab decided if the top went up or down. Thankfully I wasn't stuck for too long - only been a couple days I haven't been able to do it. So thanks for that haha
Anyways, onto your issue. Your rails/guides look quite similar to mine; they look normal to me. Is anything preventing the ski-bag from either falling or pushing far enough onto the tab? Is the left side going any further? I feel like the vinyl part got stuck on something when I was taking mine apart to replace the cylinders, maybe something similar is happening where it's not allowing it to rest onto the tab properly?
Unfortunately, I can't test mine for you until I put it all back together since I've just figured out my convertible issue today.
If nothing else you could always just take some tape to it until you find the issue
