Engine Check light...
I need to get my smog done for registration. The only thing is my engine check light is on so it wont get passed. Does anyone know how I can reset the light. Maybe disconnecting the battery etc... Thanks for the help.

if you have already tried the smog test and failed.....the print out on the smog certificate will tell you exactly what is wrong.... it prints out the codes for you. There's really no way of passing w/o fixing the problems....most likely it's either the 02 sensors, mass air flow sensor.
oh yeah....stupid question, but have you checked to see if your gas cap is on tightly?
