Hi everyone, I own a 2001 Mercedes CLK 200K and have had Bilstein B8s along with H&R blue lowering ( around 4-5 cm) springs since 2006. Yesterday the rear passenger side shock blew so i need replacements, and while I was searching I found some Koni STR.T shocks at a good price. Now I know that bilsteins are probably of higher quality, but the ones I had fitted were very firm which when coupled with the VERY bad roads where I live (rural Greece) where plain annoying. I read that the Koni STR.T are a bit softer and I think they would be better in my case. Does anyone have any experience with them?? Would they match my springs? Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Im not interested in the stock mercedes shocks as the are abit too soft for my taste and im not sure they would fit with the springs i have equiped.
