I just got a 2001 clk430 and im trying to figure out all the widgets and gadgets. I turned on the navigation thing and it says "enter navigation cd " or something.
Is this something i need to buy? if so, how much is it? are there upgrades? how often?
any help would be appreciated. THanks.

Nav CDs must be purchased from MB. They are sold by region. You can buy them from the dealer or probably on ebay. They are updated frequently (not sure how often but i think more than once a year).

before going out and buying cd's, check your trunk/glove box for them. Sometimes the dealers just throw them in there. If that fails, don't go to the stealership, get them off of ebay. They are MUCH cheaper....

Another question fellas......
I see the knob on the left for turning on and off the headlights and whatnot, is there a setting where the lights can turn on and off automatically when i turn on/off my engine?
