1999 Clk 430 72,000 Mile..should I Keep It
Hi guys I have a previous post. Just wondering if I can get some more and reliable feedback regarding the quality/longevity of a 1999 CLK 430. The one I have I love it...it seems pretty tight. With the bulletin boards its usually problems and issues that people post...I understand this...but it is started to worry me that I may be in for a world of headaches. I can handle the $2000 approx. a year maintenance. If I have computer issues or tranny replacements of 6,000 to 9,000...well to me the car isn't worth it and I will most likely sell it. I do not have an extended warranty as I only drive 10,000 tops a yr...so the amount of money for the possibility in 20,000 to me is worth the gamble. Should I keep it or sell it??? I love the dam thing...I hope I can keep it!!! Please help

CLK 430
Quality
Added....I don't expect the world of an auto but my opinion is this high end vehicle should be every bit as reliable as a Honda or Toyota...maybe a pinch less. It seems though through the postings that it may be as reliable as something as a lower level car...which I will not name as not to offend anyone. Am I totally wrong about this...I hope I am...because I'm so happy with the car presently

Used to be a CLK430
I ask myself the same thing all the time. With the right maintenance and care, the vehicle can last for 200K. The really big ticket items, computer and tranny, are not common occurrences. If you love it, keep it, I'm keeping mine!
