Spilled soda on center console - now car won't shift out of park
My jacket knocked a glass of soda out of the cup holder and onto the center console. The electrical system had a malfunction and a lot of the dash lights came on. I pulled over and put the car in park to clean up as much as i could. After I cleaned up, I couldn't take the car out of park. The dash lights light up and everything seems fine, but it won't shift. Any ideas what to do or should i expect a big bill to get this fixed.

Shift lock release
If this ever happends to anyone there is a shift lock release. If you look below the -D+ there is a little door. If you stick a really small flathead screw driver in there and hit the little release you can shift it out of park. Ohhh and uhh DON'T SPILL ANYTHING NEAR YOUR SHIFTER. HAHAHA!

hahaha....damn.. that sucks... the cup holder is too high up in the air.. but i have to admit.. it is very convenient when you're driving... you don't have to reach your hand as far
