Abs esp brak light switch

2002 clk 320 400k+ miles.

I have replaced my brake light switch twice with oem parts from the dealer and the problem still comes back. Each time the problem seems to get worse
.
When I turn my vehicle on the abs esp light comes on and my rear defrost won't turn on and turn signals won't work. Every light works normally except the turn signals when this happens. Their is only one way to put the brake light switch on correctly from what I've seen. Occasionally when the turn signals and rest defrost work they will randomly shut off and come on and off again if I have to turn my steering wheel.

Anyone know how to rectify this situation or at least where I start for more troubleshooting. I have scanned it with an obd2 scanner and no codes relate to this issue.

Similar issue with esp/bas light on. Replaced many parts with no luck. But I did notice when doing the lock to lock reset, the rpms drop when the wheel is turned all the way left or right and go back up when the wheel is straight. AI told me it meant vacuum leak or low power steering fluid or pump going bad. Can't figure this out and it's driving me nuts !!!

definitely check all of your fuses. there's 4 fuse boxes. could be an issue with wiring or corrosion somewhere, potentially the trunk

Might want to check out the front signal acquisition module (SAM) located under the main fuse box under the bonnet, these can suffer from corrosion problems.

If you only used an OBD2 scan then you must get an engine diagnostic scanner, one that can clear codes.
Lots of options online just be sure its compatible for your car.
