Valentine and W208, anyone...

got any good ideas on the install? I'm thinking probably just a dedicated power cable and use the suction mount. Going to put a Stealth one box in the M3, sure wish they could get that stuff to work for MB...any neat ideas or experience appreciated. Thanks.

I just use the suction cups and plug in the cigarette lighter. I've been watching for a "real" hardwire install for 2 years. I had it hardwired in the Corvette but that board (C5) is much more active than this and both a mirror mount and complete instructions are available. The Valentine V1 is the best.

how much more hard wired are you looking for? there are detailed steps on how to hardwire teh V1 in various power sources for the MB... have you tried searching the forum before saying that there haven't been "real" hardwire installs writeups?

I guess...

I'm just wondering if there's anything innovative that I'm missing. I was "hardwiring" Bel Vectors, Whistler Spectrums and Escorts before most of you were driving. It's just that there are so many neat options for my M3 (etched mirror, the box that allows display from your radio/nav/etc.) that I was wondering if I was missing anything. Got anything to show me?
