Does AMG trim benefit the CLK?

Does AMG trim benefit the CLK?
Hey guys, does the AMG sport trim on the CLK430 and optional on the CLK320 benefit the cars "aerodynamicity"? (i dunno what the exact word is)? On the new 2002 CLK's, their is an optional AMG sports trim that adds a few extra thousand to the price tag. Does it make wind go on the around car better or what? Or is the sole purpose of it to make the car look more agressive?

plust you are not on track you are everyday drived so does it really matter
if the looks u r going for then its a different story

AMG did design the kit to produce some downforce. How much I'm not exactly sure, but the kit (side skirts especially) give some downforce at high speeds. It's probably useless on the road, but whatever.

AMG styling kit make your car 50% faster!!!!!
i have a CLK200 and since i fitted AMG kit and wheels, it now has a top speed of 280 kmh!

any modified bodykit are mainly for looks only. the increase of downforce is small unless you are going 130+ mph all the time.
the CLK320 sport package is $4600 dollar...with no upgrade in suspension, no wonder nobody is getting that package.
