Rims are a representative a person's individual style...one person will love a set and another will completely despise them. Personally, I think those look a little ricey. I think MB's look better with a fuller rim.

Do you mean more lip or thicker/fewer spokes?

I'd go 17s or 18s probably. It's either this or a high performance driving school this year. I'm leaning towards 17s cause I already have an extra set of PS2s coming in that size.

I'm assuming you track your car right? That's why you're going for either 17"s or 18"s. Are you running stock suspensions? How does the car feel on track?

No track sessions yet. Yes to stock suspension.

By fuller, I mean not being able to see much of the rotar. Lip or no lip.

they look like a stock wheel off something domestic? I know your pretty conservitive but I would go one more step up mayby a few less spokes...just my worthless opinion.

It's the AMG factory wheel for the new SLK55.

I've decided....

Saving the cash for a driving school!

tery has similar wheels (HRE multispoke wheels)... and I thought about getting those for my car too...
the wheels would look pretty good on the CLK... but, its good to have a lip on there... that flush look isn't all that great.

must have lip. lip defines the wheel pattern.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
You're just wasting the effort,

unless you go to the 18's. The 17" stuff is just too small for a properly set up 208.

17's is too small.

I agree with Terabyte, without lip, the wheel seems to be lacking personality.

Too many spokes for my taste. The CLK looks great with an Antera 309. Check it out...

I like them Chappy, but then again I'm not the best person in the world to ask because I'm still running stock wheels because I can't make my mind up.
If you change your mind and get them, you'll have to take me for another ride. The AMG could smoke your stock tires, so I'd love to see what they could do to a 17". LOL
Did you see my post that Matt R.'s business partner is going to be a Kleeman dealer in AL?

Is the shop in Mobile? Has he started doing installs yet? Is your CLK going to be Kleemannized?

It will be in Mobile and about 5 miles from my house. I want the Stage 7 kit, but I still have plenty of warranty left and hate to screw with it, but who knows. I'll let you know if I do. They seem to think I won't be able to wait on my warranty to run out and went ahead and ordered one for my car.
