This is my first post here...just bought my 2000 CLK320 coupe on 26/01/05 in silver.
I previously had an A-class (A140) which had a full bodykit, TV's, Brabus exhaust, Brabus Springs and Brabus 18" Monoblock V Wheels.
Now that some idiot swerved lanes and hit me head on wrecking the car i'm left with the wheels because the iunsurance company didn't do their research on Brabus and under insured them!
They measure 7.25" x 18" and have 225/35/18 tyres and i've been told that with spacers made for them, i can fit them to a CLK (from ET49 to whatever the CLK has) however the tyres might not be right for the car's weight.
Does anyone know if i'm being told the right info. Is it vital that i change to 225/40/18 tyres? Will i have to lower the car? By how much? and what springs should i get? Any comments on this would be welcomed
Cheers!

7.25 X 18......
I am running 19X9.5 man!!!!!
7.25 is WAY WAY WAY too thin.!!!!
225 .,. if you have a 320., you might be able to use 225 in the front
but I really suggest you to use 235 front with 17X8 or 18X8 rims
and at least 245 from the rear with a 17X8.5 or 18X8.5 rims
