I noticed the back lights the radio of my 2002 CLK 320 do not display (in the dark) when the headlights are switched on.

Is a fuse burned out -- the radio and all its controls work fine -- or does the radio need to be replaced?

Once in a while, i get the same problem.

What I do is to turn the radio on and off, the back light comes on.

Haven't found out why this happens.
