Electrical quirk.. all the dash lights go out

All the dash lights and console lights go out if I hit a bump.. if I hit another (or bop the steering wheel on dashboard) they come back on. Clearly a loose connector which is affecting everything. Any idea where in the cabin the main dash connector is located? (2001 CLK 320 for ref)

Regards,

Bouncer,
Is your car still under warranty or starmarked?I have that problem but just not as bad.My dash lights go out(only)the MPH part for a few days and comes back on.Also the clock leds go out after driving awhile. But from what I heard the whole cluster will have to be replaced.

might just be the bulbs on the cluster. When going bad they will start to turn on and off intermittently. U can yank the cluster right out of the dash, just give it a good tug from the sides using the side of the dash for leverage. Extend the steering whl all the way out, and yes it will come out wihtout having to take the whl off.
