Will These Wheels Fit

Hey guys i have a question, i know the usual staggered setup for a clk is 19 x 8.5 in the front and 19 x 9.5 in the rear, i came accross an ad in my local paper and some guy is selling some Hre's that are 5 x 112, 35mm but 19 x 9 all the way around. Will these bad boys fit? I'm planning on lowering the car with the cup kit next month, i would like my wheels and tires to tuck in. He's selling them for 900 bucks no tires, i checked them out in person and they are super clean. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

a car
19x9 in the front is definetly an aggressive fitment, especially for a CLK 320.

You should be OK on the back, but in the front you will need some serious fender rolling with the cup kit.

Yup, you'll rub like crazy with that type of setup, expect to roll out your fenders in order for the fronts to work, max you can go without rolling is 19x8.5... good luck, 900 bucks is a steal! Any idea on what type of HRE he is selling?

i think they are the 545r's, so if i roll the fenders in the front they will work fine with no problems?

No. They might bolt up, but they won't "fit". Even if you can avoid the contact/clearance issue (which I doubt), you are going to deal with incredibly heavy steering effort, tracking problems, and worn tires. These cars are wheel and tire sensitive, I'll bet this will be awful. Better save the money and get something that will really work.

Buy them, if they suck, sell them.
