Retrofit OEM Xenon
I have a 2004 CLK 320 without the lighting package. I am looking to buy an OEM Xenon headlight assembly from a CLK 500 complete with ballast.
I wanted to be sure that this will work for my car. I've been seeing some posts in this forum about troubles with retrofitted xenons, I'm looking for a definitive answer.
Can someone please help me?

GL320CDI / C63 Edition 507 Coupe (EDP) / E63 S (on order) / G500 / Smart Brabus
They will work fine, however your car will need to have the equipment programmed into it using the diagnostic computer. MBenzNL has headlights for your car (if it is left hand drive) in stock.

If the car is left hand drive, usually the cars drive on the right side of the road, and traffic coming at the car is on the left.

You are able to install them yourself if your handy with some of the tools. Its a process tho. YOu will ahve to remove the entire front bumper assembly. But that isn't the hardest part. The hardest part is having the dealership change the setting to bixenon = present. But steve sells some great headlights. Your best bet would be to purchase from him and if your in the area where he is visiting, he would install them for you too and do the versa coding. I think he is goiing to be in cali/chicago/NY/NJ.
